WHO IS IT ?

This project presents itself as a puzzle to be solved, a quest for discovery at the heart of the creative process. By reinterpreting Roy Lichtenstein’s iconic work through clay, I highlight the imprint as a central pivot in the unveiling of forms that create intrigue. On the studio table, used as a tribute to the creative process, lies a cracked essay. Like a puzzle to be reconstructed, the fragments invite us to guess the identity of the artist and to unravel the mystery surrounding his creation. The tools and materials scattered around bear witness to the authentic work and the passionate commitment invested in its creation. Each of the traces that have become imprints reflect the human effort, the quest for detail that drives the intrigue and the understanding of the work. When the final clay work is revealed, it offers a new perspective on the original. The monochrome of the sculpted earth creates a relief that reveals a play of light and shadow that captivates the eye, opening the way to a sensory and introspective exploration.
