In my project approach, the essence of unveiling emerges as a key exploration, aiming to reveal often neglected layers. My objects for sale come from artisans and designers who reinterpret glass, with a collection inspired by the memory of the artisanal gesture. This sensitive and poetic work integrates "waste" into an aesthetic and creative approach, where it becomes the master of manufacturing. My project is located at the resource center of the harbor in Toulon, a space characterized by its transversality and its skylights. The spatial organization removes the notion of entry and exit and is structured around a main axis with a symmetry designed to balance uses in continuity.
The drape and concrete structure the materiality, dialoguing between opacity and transparency, in a discourse of unveiling truth.
The space becomes a cultural destination, where craftsmanship, digital and photography meet. The exhibition, in the center, highlights the objects through a play of light and materials, accompanied by labeling and projections. The permanent gallery celebrates the ancestral nature of the artisanal gesture, while the catering area plays on sensory immersion with seating and a direct view of the know-how. The cloakrooms and spatial work reinforce the museum character, offering an experience that is both intellectual and sensory.
