"Renovation of apartments for rent and a restaurant/terrace/winter garden within the Cardinale Foundation in Némours"

[ Description ]
My project explores the relationship between the existing, the natural environment and uses. Bordered by the Loing and bathed in a green space, this place offers unique views that I seek to enhance in the design of the spaces. The distribution of the spaces and their uses allows a natural stroll through the place,
accentuated by the work of color. Indeed, the colorimetry of each use and space is based on the color wheel, inspired by the flat tints of blue from the Loing and the green from the garden observed on site. This palette extends to all uses of the site: the lodgings, the residents' apartments, the terrace and the restaurant are defined by a shade, creating a visual harmony and a common thread between the public and private spaces.
The lodgings, designed as "duplexes", were designed to take full advantage of the four perspectives offered by the site: the river and the garden on their two levels. Each of their uses has been oriented to anchor itself in a different view, reinforcing the interaction between the inside and the outside. The choice of materials, selected in saturated and unique tones for each cottage, helps to create a different space, disconnected from everyday life.
